چکیده

Contrary to top-loaded deep beams, Inverted-T (IT) beams are loaded on ledges at the beam’s bottom chord. The presence of load near creates a tension field in web loading points. An experimental investigation was carried out which 8 specimens reinforced concrete IT were tested and effect following variables studied: changing hanger diameter, arrangement terms spacing distribution distance, reinforcement ratio, vertical horizontal shear spacing. In addition, all had long extending end beam. It concluded that diameter have an insignificant beam capacity. While change arrangement, reinforcement, ledge length has significant maximum minimum ratio passing through plate will be studied publication. Hysteretic Behavior of Conventionally Reinforced Concrete Coupling Beams in Reinforced Concrete Coupled Shear Wall

This paper presents the experimental results of four full-scale coupling beams in which only horizontal reinforcements are placed, without diagonal reinforcements, with the aim to develop reinforcement details for coupling beams used in connecting side walls in a wall-slab structural system. Each coupling beam specimen was designed according to the deep-beam design procedure that does not use d...

Seismic Behavior of Steel Reinforced Concrete Beam-Columns and Frames

The ability to perform accurate nonlinear simulations is a key component in the assessment of the behavior of seismic force resisting systems. A three-dimensional distributed plasticity formulation for composite beam-columns suitable for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of composite seismic force resisting systems has been developed. New uniaxial constitutive relations are developed for th...

Experimental and Analytical Study on Reinforced Concrete Deep Beam

ABSTRACT: Several reinforced concrete deep beams with different L/D ratios (1.5, 1.6, 1.71) were cast and tested in order to investigate the strain distribution pattern at mid-section of the beam. This paper describes analysis of deep beams subjected to two point loading with three different L/D ratios (1.5, 1.6, 1.71) using Non-linear Finite element method (ANSYS 9.0 software). In ANSYS 9.0 so...

Forecasting of Shear Strength of Concrete Beam Reinforced with FRP Bar

This study develops a new approach for forecasting shear Strength of concrete beam without stirrups based on the artificial neural networks (ANN). Proposed ANN considers geometric and mechanical properties of cross section and FRP bars, and shear span-depth ratio. The ANN model is constructed from a set of experimental database available in the past literature. Efficiency of the ANN model was c...

Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System Models for Predicting the Shear Strength of Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams

A reinforced concrete member in which the total span or shear span is especially small in relation to its depth is called a deep beam. In this study, a new approach based on the Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is used to predict the shear strength of reinforced concrete (RC) deep beams. A constitutive relationship was obtained correlating the ultimate load with seven mechanical a...
